Since I am doing my PhD in Webscience it is quite obvious to add a Webscience category to my personal blog. Within this category I will discuss recent trends within Webscience. Another goal is to share my thoughts with the web. I thereby hope to find other people with similar interests. In order to give an answer to the two Questions:
- What is Webscience?
- Why do we need Webscience?
I included a video snippet by Prof. Dr. Nigel Shadbolt who started together with Tim Berners-Lee the initiative Webscience Trust in November 2006. Webscience Trust is a network in which my my university participates.
